Samantha Liptak received her BA from American University.  She was on the Dean’s List for six semesters.  She co-founded Planet Days, a blog that covers climate change news.  She was a crew member at Elements DC where she took children on hikes through local parks and educated them on environmental issues.  She was also a counselor at the Platt Nature Center.  She is currently studying at Lesley University for her Master’s in Education based on the philosophy on the preschools of Reggio Emilia.
