Online Birthday Parties
How does it work?
The Children’s Art Studio will bring the joy of art to your birthday child with our exciting online parties!
Each guest will be delighted to open up a wonderful surprise art box with all the supplies needed to complete the art project and join in on the fun.
Step 1
Pick A Box
We will create a super-cool birthday art box, specifically curated for your child, that will be a big hit with all the party guests. We call on our years of experience to gather the most interesting, high quality materials, things kids really love. Each child will receive a kit with all the tools to succeed and enjoy the online art birthday party. The art project serves as a party favor— a souvenir to remember the day and celebrate the birthday child!
Step 2
Schedule the Party
Please email us and let us know a little bit about your child, so we can curate the perfect art party box. Also, please let us know what day and time works well for you, and how many guests you will invite. Cousins, friends and grandparents from far and away are welcome to join! We will book it. The day of the party we will guide the students through the project, step by step, in a fun upbeat environment.
Step 3
Sit Back and Relax
We will send you the boxes and the zoom link for the party/meeting so that you can include it in your invitation. We will deliver the boxes to you if you live within five miles of our office address. Otherwise you can pick them up. If you live out of town, (or if you simply prefer the convenience of having us ship the boxes to each guest individually), no problem. We will mail the boxes!
#1 Sculpture
We will start the party by doing a warm-up exercise, followed by the creation of our fun wood sculptures!
This “Birthday Box” contains: wood bits, card board shapes, a base, paint, brushes and glue. We will include sequins, pompoms and jewels unless you tell us otherwise.
The cost for the party is $250.
This is for up to five children total, and includes all the art materials for the online party. You can add up to twenty children. The cost for each additional child is $50. Each child needs their own box.
#2 Painting
We will start the activity by doing a warm up exercise. Then, we will create a painting. We will use a cloth bag, wood box or canvas as our base. You decide.
This “Birthday Box” contains: paint in a wide range of cool colors, brushes, a cloth bag, wood box, or a canvas. Let us know which one you prefer. We will include sequins, pompoms and jewels unless you tell us otherwise.
The cost for the party is $250.

Where do I begin?
Book your party by sending us an email. We will quickly work out all the details together. Or, simply give us a call at 202-247-1155. We will design a masterful experience for your child’s birthday!
How do the boxes work?
Let us know a bit about your child and we will curate the perfect art box. We will call upon our decades of working with kids to create a perfect art experience that will be a hit will all the guests. We will deliver the boxes to you if you live within five miles of our office address. Alternatively, you can pick them up. If you live out of town, don’t worry. We will mail the boxes. (A $15 shipping fee will be added). Each child needs their own box.
How do the parties work?
Parties will meet online for forty-five minutes to be scheduled for an afternoon or Saturday morning of your choice. We will send you the link for the meeting as soon as we receive payment so that you can include the link in your invitation. Please give us at least two weeks notice so we can make sure the art boxes arrive on time.
At the end of the art lesson/party, we will make you the host so that you can continue with the zoom meeting and party on!
